Surviving were his wife, Tracy Alsbrooks Pannier a son, Frederick LeRoy “Lee” Pannier of Newberry sisters, Robert Tobin of Columbia, Dianne Pannier of Florida and Judy Reinwald of Connecticut grandchildren, Trinity Rivers, Frederick LeRoy “Trey” Pannier and Emma-Lou Pannier. Born in Bethany, Conn., he was a son of the late Charles and Ruth Busbee Pannier. Pannier, Frederick LeRoy 59 years old, of Newberry, died Oct. Prior to his deployment to England, his group was stationed at McDill Army Air Base in Tampa, Fla., and then at Kellogg Field in Battle Creek, Mich., where he met his wife, Patricia Ann Ricketts. He was in the 584 Squadron, (B-26 Marauders), of the 394th Bomber Group in the Ninth Air Force. Clint was a World War II veteran and served honorably in the U.S. He was born in Central, the third son of Icy and Lee Palmer, on Sept. He was survived by one sister, Betty Watkins of Clemson two daughters, Pam McMillian and Kim Knox of Buffalo four sons, Mike Palmer of Sacramento, Calif., Dan Palmer and Mark Palmer of York and Kevin Palmer of Whitmire.
